Want to Impress your Audience: Write on Slide During Presentation
This module explains how to prepare a PowerPoint show to accept information typed onto the slide during the slide presentation.
This Features is very useful when you one needs to capture viewer/audience feedback/inputs while you are presenting your MS Powerpoint slides. Further, this feature comes handy when you are discussing a scope and want to alter the same dynamically. Moreover, while discussing a proposal you want to capture changes immediately in front of all participants.
Hence, it can be useful in many ways. Now lets discern how to do this. It requires one time setup in powerpoint for enabling Developer Tab and then using it whenever required
Step1: Click on File Tab on the Leftmost Upper Corner of Powerpoint Window
Step2: Click on Options
Step3:Click on Customize the Ribbon.
Step4: In the right hand column area, look for put a check box next to Developer.
Step5: For each slide where you will be adding content:
- In the Ribbon, click the Developer Click the Text Box control; then drag a rectangle for the text box on the slide.
Drag the Text box and Draw on the Slide where you want to place it as below
Then put the Slide in presentation Mode and write Freely as Below:
Additional Features: If you want to change the text behaviour or want to enter Multi Line Texts then Right click the text box, and click Property Sheet. Set EnterKeyBehavior to True and MultiLine to True. If desired, click Font and then the “…” on the right to change the font and size.
